It is our greatest hope that you will partner with us through our journeys, and answer the call to pray for our great country. We also hope you will take the time to travel to your state capital and to the Capitol building to pray for your state government. Together, in a unified effort, we will seek God to deliver our nation, heal the land, and believe Him for restoration as we humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways, and trust solely in Him for His divine intervention. God alone is our refuge, our strength, our shield, and our only hope.
There are two scriptures that have guided us into the fulfillment of this mandate from God, and we want to share them with you. We stand upon these two verses for all of our Prayer Treks:
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His inheritance. Psalm 33:12 (NIV)
- Put your hope in the LORD. Travel steadily along His path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed. Psalm 37:34
As we continued our prayer treks, God gave us a theme for Capitol Point Prayer:
One nation Under God.
These prayer treks were meant to unify our country that has been so badly divided. But it is also meant to unify us under HIM! We are now taking it to the world! 2016 was the beginning, and it continues in 2017 and beyond! Our new verse is Habakkuk 1:5.
- Look among the nations and be totally and utterly amazed. I am about to do something in your day that you would not have believed if it were told to you.
